Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives within the luxury travel sector across Europe. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work within a fast-paced and innovative environment, playing a key role in shaping the future of luxury travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement business development strategies to meet company objectives and revenue targets. Manage the sales budget to ensure optimal return on investment.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities for growth across the European market.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, media outlets, industry associations, and key stakeholders. Expand distribution by developing new partnerships and sales channels, while growing group and charter business.
- Sales Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing contracts, using excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to secure new business.
- Customer Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams such as marketing, sales, reservations, and finance to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, offering insights for continuous improvement.
- Training and Development: Support and train trade partners to increase their knowledge and drive sales growth within the European market.
